Procedure and Forms:
To complete the employment process, students need to comply with specific legal regulations outlined by the Commonwealth of Massachusetts. All students under the age of 18 are required to obtain a Work Permit.

Follow these steps:
- Fill out the Employment Permit Application, which is available by clicking here.
- Once a job offer is secured from an employer they need to complete (and sign) the Promise of Employment form (parent/guardian must sign as well).
- A signature from their physicians is required for students between the ages of 14-15.

An updated schedule for the 2023-2024 academic year is posted in your Aspen account. The schedule does not include the names of teachers or room locations. Later in the summer, we will post an updated schedule with this information.

We have done our best to make changes to students schedules, but some may have not been fulfilled. If your name was placed on a waitlist for a class it will remain there. Guidance Counselors are not available until August 28. If you want to check your waitlist status, please email your Counselor on August 28, 2023.

We are happy to help explore possibilities and make available adjustments over the summer on Tuesday, August 22, Wednesday, August 23, and Thursday, August 24 from 8:00AM - 2:45PM. These appointments will be held on Zoom. You will receive the Zoom link when you sign up for your appointment.

If you have used the conference manager before, you don’t have to register, you are already in the database and your password is still usable.
Once you log in use the "Available Conference Sessions" dropdown menu and select “summer schedule help” and a day that works for you. Click on "Summer Help Guidance" name and select "next." Finally, select any available time slot that works with your schedule. Once selected you are able to make comments. Please give us a brief explanation of your concern.

Open / Off-campus for 2023-2024
Members of the class of 2024, 2025, & 2026 may be eligible for open and off-campus privileges. For more information, please review this Open Campus Policy Link.

If you would like to give your student permission for this privilege, please complete the Workflow in Aspen. Please complete the form by Sunday, August 20th, in order for the information to be processed for the start of school.
Registration to Play Fall Sports
Athletic participation at CCHS requires that all students be registered on FamilyID by a parent or guardian and have a valid physical on file for each season.
The deadline to register for Fall sports is August 15, 2023.

9th Grade (YOG 2027) Details
There is a 9th Grade Transition website to serve as a resource for rising 9th graders. Key information may be found here and will continue to be added throughout the summer.

Student Parking
All seniors (YOG 2024) who wish to have a parking space will be entered into a lottery. In order to enter the lottery, you need to purchase a parking permit and complete the required information on MySchoolBucks.com. If you are not assigned a parking spot, your purchase will be refunded. Spots will be randomly assigned both in the lot and on the driveway in front of the Beede Center during the first full week of school. The School Committee has maintained a rate of $300 for all spots. In order to be entered into the lottery, complete the purchase of your permit in MySchoolBucks by Monday, August 21st by 11:59 pm. If you will not have your Driver’s License by September 30th, 2023, YOU MAY NOT PURCHASE A PARKING SPOT. Your valid driver’s license must be presented when picking up your parking pass.
