2023-24 Student and Parent Handbook
All students and parents must sign off, in Aspen, that they have received a copy of the 23-24 CCHS Handbook. You can find a link to the handbook and the Handbook Sign-Off Form in the announcements section of the Aspen portal. Please see the graphic below (this graphic is not a link to Aspen).
Back-to-School Night - Thursday, September 7 - In Person
Back-to-school night is scheduled for Thursday, September 7, and will be held in person at CCHS. Your student will fill out a schedule for you in their homeroom on 9/6.
Senior Parking - Please Read
Parking is ONLY available to seniors (via lottery, if necessary)
Students may only park in spaces marked with YELLOW lines (with the exception of in front of the Beede Center, which is also available for student parking).
No students may park in front of the school (near the flag pole), visitor parking, or the upper turf during the school day.
ONLY Seniors who did NOT receive a parking permit will be notified via email. Parking is on a first-come, first-serve basis. Senior parking is any space marked with yellow lines.
Mr. Robbins will be in touch regarding the distribution of parking permits.
Please review the parking/driving regulations and contract, and parking map for more details. Students will complete the parking contract when parking passes are picked up from Mr. Robbins.
Email Derek Robbins (drobbins@concordcarlisle.org) with any questions regarding parking.
Any sophomore or junior who parks on campus runs the risk of being ticketed, immediately towed, and/or losing future parking privileges.
Do not park in staff-designated parking spots (white lines), as you may be ticketed and/or towed at the vehicle owner's expense.
Open/Off-Campus
With parental permission, students in grades 10, 11, and 12 may have open campus/off-campus privileges.
Parents/Guardians can complete the online permission via a workflow in Aspen.
Review the open campus information sheet for more details.
Email Mary Ellen Moloney (mmoloney@concordcarlisle.org) with any questions regarding open campus.
All 9th-grade students must remain on campus.
Community Service
All community service will be entered in Aspen.
A specified number of community service hours are required for membership in our National Honors Society (NHS), and also for open campus.
Every year we have students who are ineligible for induction into NHS because they have not entered their community service hours (even though they have completed the service). Please avoid this situation by completing this quick task of entering the information.
Email Martha Hammer (mhammer@concordcarlisle.org) with any questions regarding community service.
Volunteer Opportunities: We will continue to search for meaningful service opportunities. 2volunteer is gathering an up-to-date list of community service projects happening in our area.
2Volunteer committee: David Holdorf, Laura Close, Jen Clarke, Erin Duggan, Court Booth, Ann Sgarzi, Martha Hammer
