16th Annual Kicks for Cancer Weekend is Here!

The wait is finally over. The 16th annual Kicks for Cancer weekend is here!

We are looking forward to a great Kicks for Cancer weekend in memory of former CCHS Science teacher Peter Nichol.

Kicking off the week was the Flicks for Cancer tournament on Wednesday against L-S. The team had a great time raising awareness and funds!

There are several events happening- starting off with a Tackles for Cancer home Varsity Football game against Westford Academy this evening at 6pm this evening. The Pink Dance will start right after the game. This is the first Pink Dance we have been able to have in three years!  This year’s dance will be held outside in the amphitheater adjacent to the dining commons; please dress appropriately for the weather.

Saturday brings a full day of soccer games, field hockey games, and volleyball games followed by the Mighty Moose 5k Run/Walk for Ovarian cancer on Sunday.  We trust all our students and community members will make good choices and demonstrate appropriate behavior while participating in these special events. Please remember that you are representing CCHS while at these events and we are hosts to visiting teams from all over the state.

Here are a few friendly reminders as we head into the weekend:

  • Tickets for the Pink Dance can still be purchased at the door for $ 15.00

  • There will be random breathalyzing at the Pink Dance.

  • Here is the schedule for Saturday’s games (Kicks for Cancer, Sticks for Cancer, and Digs for Cancer).  The recommended entry donation is $10 for adults and $5 for students.  Throughout the weekend, cash is preferred.

  • Food and merchandise will be on sale all day on Saturday with proceeds benefiting the cause.

  • The organizers are still looking for a few more volunteers for the weekend, please sign up at the following links: event sign up and parking assistance.
