We are looking forward to our Class of 2023 Commencement this Saturday! We are keeping a close eye on the weather as the forecast has changed several times over the past few days. As such, we are preparing for various scenarios:
1. Standard Plan
Our ultimate goal is to hold the ceremony outside at 9 am at Memorial Field as planned. Students will report to the Maroon Gym by 7:45 AM.
2. Delayed Start Outside
If it looks like the weather may be better later in the morning, we will move the start time to 11:00 am at Memorial Field. Students will report to the Maroon Gym by 9:45 AM.
3. Indoor Graduation
If we are not able to have the ceremony outside due to the weather, it will be conducted in the Main Gym at 9:00 am. If it is held indoors, each graduate can reserve three guest tickets for seating in the main gym and two tickets for seating in the auditorium. The ceremony will take place in the Main Gym, and those seated in the auditorium seating will watch the ceremony live-streamed. Students will report to the Maroon Gym by 7:45 AM. The doors to the Main Gym and Auditorium will not open before 7:30 AM.
Additional family members will be able to live stream the event from home on the Minuteman Media YouTube Channel* or listen at www.WIQH.org. The Graduation will also air on these Channels for both Concord and Carlisle: Comcast Channel 9 & 99. *Please note: The live YouTube link will not work until the morning of Graduation, June 3.
We understand that many of you have loved ones who have traveled to be here to celebrate this milestone. Unfortunately, we are unable to afford any family extra tickets due to fire code regulations. Thank you for understanding.
Each graduate will receive an email later today with their unique code to reserve tickets for indoor seating. Tickets will be reserved via Eventbrite at: https://cchsgraduation2023.eventbrite.com. In the event of an indoor graduation, we ask all guests to print out or have screenshots of their tickets before entering CCHS. The cell service in this building can be spotty, so trying to load the tickets once in the building may be difficult.
The final decision regarding graduation will be made tomorrow afternoon (Friday, June 2).
